Reckless Entertainment is proud to announce that Flint Rock Fest is now a FREE event. I would like to thank The Flint City Council for backing this event. Also special thanks to all my sponsors. Without you all this could not be taking place. We are making Flint History!!!
The whole vision of Flint Rock Fest was to be able to put the best Flint and the Tri-cities rock bands together on one stage. No battle of the bands or any of that competitive crap. Just the bands out there having fun and entertaining the masses. There will be 13 bands playing during the day and then 4 more at the after party at one of the favorite rock spots, Corunna Road Bar.
Flint Rock Fest is an all day, all ages rockin' family event held at Kearsley Park. This is a rain or shine event. The bands will play in the pavilion and the kids have the playground right next to it. There will be local vendors serving food and drinks (no alcohol), and many local businesses out there showing off what they have. All the bands will have spaces where you can visit them and also buy their merchandise. The Flint Gear Grinders will be hosting the custom car show but will also be adding a custom truck and bike show to the mix. The lovely Flint Roller Derby girls will be out also & FACE PAINTING FOR THE KIDS!. For the 2nd year, Flint's own "Ozzy" will be the official MC for the event.
To stay in compliance with the city of Flint parks & recreation, this is a no alcohol event. There will be plenty of alcohol at the Corunna Road Bar, be sure to go to the after party!
