FLINT ROCK FEST 2009 Colleen from Reckless Entertainment & Metal Mike from The Butcher Shop radio show (WKUF 94.3FM) are proud to bring the 4th annual year of Flint Rock Fest! This is Flint, Michigan's only FREE all day all ages rock event. A special thanks to all our sponsors. Without you all this could not be taking place. We are making Flint History!!! The whole vision of Flint Rock Fest was to be able to put the best Flint and Mid Michigan rock bands together on one stage. No battle of the bands or any of that competitive crap. Just the bands out there having fun and entertaining the masses. There will be 18 powerhouse bands playing this year. 13 bands during the daytime and then 5 more at the night time portion at one of Flint's oldest rock spots, Corunna Road Bar. We are pleased to announce that Kettering University and The Butcher Shop Radio Show on 94.3FM will be hosting an all day live broadcast at Flint Rock Fest! Also happening is a Bike Run for Cherokee's Journey Home Foundation. Please click on the link to the right for details. Flint Rock Fest is an all day, all ages rockin' family event held at Kearsley Park. This is a rain or shine event. The bands will play in the pavilion and the kids have the playground right next to it. There will be local vendors serving food and drinks (no alcohol), and many local businesses out there showing off what they have. All the bands will have spaces where you can visit them and also buy their merchandise and the bands will be on hand for meet and greets and also pictures. So bring your cameras! To stay in compliance with the city of Flint parks & recreation, this is a no alcohol event during the daytime portion. Drop off the kids and come on out to Corunna Rd Bar for the nighttime portion and party with us! |
